Transitional Kindergarten (TK) Program

Following the rich social and emotional growth experienced from ages 1 to 3, children between 4 and 5 years old enter a pivotal stage where language development accelerates. Our TK program is tailored to harness this rapid period of linguistic expansion through a comprehensive Theme-Based, Mandarin Chinese immersion curriculum.

Chinese-Immersion Program

At ages 4-5, children experience a 'sensitive period' of language acquisition, during which they can easily learn and assimilate new languages. Continuing a Chinese immersion program at TK is crucial for several reasons: It capitalizes on this critical learning period, enhances cognitive and academic skills, lays a foundation for advanced proficiency, and sets the stage for long-term educational and career opportunities.

Learning Club

Transitional kindergarteners who do not require a nap can participate in our 1.5-hour Learning Club post-lunch. This engaging session features a variety of academic activities, including math, phonics, and bilingual reading and writing in Chinese and English, all designed to enhance the academic and language skills crucial for kindergarten readiness

Theme-Based Curriculum

Our TK curriculum for 4-5 year olds is structured around engaging monthly themes and hands-on activities that cover a broad spectrum of subjects, including Math and Science, Language and Literacy, Cognitive Development, Social/Emotional Development, and Creative Arts, etc., preparing children to be active learners and explorers as they enter kindergarten.

Enrichment Classes

Our TK program features a diverse array of enrichment classes offered in the afternoon, including performing arts, calligraphy, martial arts, and art, providing students with opportunities to explore and develop new interests and talents in a supportive and stimulating environment.
